چکیده
Background: Prediabetes is an important risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The current study aims to investigate the changes in miR-204 serum glucose following eight weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) men with prediabetes. Materials Methods: In this quasi-experimental a pre-test/post-test design, 24 middle-aged (aged 40-50 years) prediabetes (Fasting blood sugar= 110-125 mg/dL) were randomly assigned control groups. group performed HIIT (High Knee, Butterfly, Burpee, Kettlebell Snatch, Scott Goblet) intensity 80-90% heart rate (three sessions first four second weeks). samples taken from subjects 48 hours before after last session analyze level miR-204, lipid profile, level. Data analyzed by using paired t-test ANCOVA SPSS v.25 software, considering significance P˂0.05. Results: significantly reduced levels (P=0.001), Triglyceride (P˂0.001), Cholesterol low-density lipoprotein (P=0.031) compared group. Furthermore, HIIT, significant increase high-density was observed (P˂0.001). Conclusion: It seems that appropriate indicator regulating both diabetic pre-diabetic men. can reduce profile altering expression and, subsequently, reducing

The effect of high-intensity interval training and high-intensity resistance training on the Lipid profile and body composition in overweight and obese men
Background & Aim: Obesity is a metabolic disorder that can be controlled and prevented by increasing calorie consumption and reducing calorie intake from food. This study aimed to investigate the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and high-intensity resistance training (HIRT) on lipid profile and body composition in overweight and obese men. Methods: 30 overweight or obese men ...
متن کاملThe Effect of Eight Weeks of High-intensity Interval Training on Lipoprotein-associated Phospholipase A2 and Lipid Profile in a Male Rat Model of Type 2 Diabetes
Introduction: Type 2 diabetes (T2D) causes hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, and dyslipidemia, which are all risk factors for atherosclerosis. Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) has been recognized as an indicator of atherosclerosis due to its role in vessel inflammation. This study aimed to investigate the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on serum levels of Lp-PL...

متن کاملthe effect of a high intensity interval training program on lipid profile in sedentary young men
increasing the intensity of physical activity is associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases and this may be the reason why the blood lipoprotein profiles improve. so the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of six weeks of a high intensity interval training (hiit) on lipid profile of sedentary young men. for this purpose, 18 sedentary young men voluntarily participated i...
